TRX Suspension Training

Personal Training International is pleased to be able to bring you the latest in group and private training with the TRX Suspension Trainer!

TRX utilizes a system of ropes and webbing to allow participants to work against their own body weight in a variety of multi-planar exercise movements. It provides the perfect mix of support and mobility to train strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, power, and core stability all at once across a wide range of resistance.

The TRX Suspension Trainer was created by Randy Hetrick. As a Navy Seal stationed overseas he and his team needed a way to stay in in peak physical shape without access to any traditional fitness equipment or free weights. What they did have was a training harness and some parachute webbing which they stitched together with boat repair tools to create the first TRX. Once back from active duty Randy helped refine the TRX training system to it's current stage. It's now used in the military, with professional sports teams, and at high quality fitness studios all around the world.

We currently have 2 TRX group classes to our schedule:

TRX Body Blast with Bibsy
Tuesdays 9:15 am and Thursdays 9:15 am

TRX Body Blast is structured more like a traditional group class where you'll keep your heart rate up with exercises that are choreographed to the tempo of the music. The essence of TRX Body Blast is group training in a communal environment, and each class beings with a warm up and ends with a cool down.

You must sign up for class online at least 4 hours in advance due to limited class space.If you need to cancel you must also do that 2 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

For people interested in TRX workouts tailored to their specific needs we also have the option for private, one-on-one personal training sessions using the TRX. This is a great choice for people interested in injury prevention or recovery, sport specific training, and individual fitness development.
